This study aims to analyze the implementation of sharia governance management at BCA Syariah KC Metro in the context of digitalization and to assess its influence on the bank’s competitiveness in the digital era. Shariah governance management, which encompasses governance principles in accordance with Islamic values such as fairness, transparency, and accountability, plays an important role in ensuring the integrity and sustainability of Islamic bank operations. Meanwhile, digitalization presents both opportunities and challenges in banking, which requires technological innovation to remain competitive in an increasingly evolving market. This research adopts a qualitative approach with a case study at BCA Syariah Bank KC Metro. Data were obtained through in-depth interviews with six purposively selected informants, consisting of three management, two operational staff, and one corporate customer. In addition, data were also collected through documentation studies and direct observation of the bank’s operational activities. The results showed that BCA Syariah has successfully implemented the principles of good sharia governance, which is reflected in operational policies and procedures that are transparent, accountable, and equitable. In the context of digitalization, BCA Syariah has utilized technology to improve operational efficiency, accelerate customer service, and strengthen competitiveness in the Islamic banking market. Effective implementation of sharia governance is proven to contribute to increased customer confidence and bank stability, which in turn enhances the bank’s competitiveness in the digital era. This research enriches the literature on Islamic governance in the digital era and provides practical recommendations for the Islamic banking industry.
